On Sunday, August 22, 2015 NetStandard employees and their families volunteered at the Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care Angel Gala. The annual Gala is a benefit for the Kansas City Hospice House, a not-for-profit organization providing expert care, peace of mind, comfort, guidance, and hope to the people in the community.

Kansas City Hospice & Palliative has been devoted to the Kansas City community since 1995 with a local focus and local board. They have unmatched expertise with a team of palliative medicine physicians and ARPNs with award-winning expert staff. With more than 400 dedicated volunteers, KC Hospice is able to bring a variety of services to patients and families alike. Thanks to generous donations, Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care provides services to the uninsured. In addition to memorial donations and gifts from individuals, businesses and organizations, the community helps support our efforts through special events. Each year they invite supporters out to their annual Angel Gala to help raise money continue their commitment to Kansas City and the surrounding area. If you haven’t attended before, we encourage you to join us in supporting KC Hospice at next year’s event!

During the event, guests enjoyed cocktails, silent auction, dinner and entertainment. NetStandard employees volunteered at the registration and banking tables at the end of the evening. At the end of the evening, they entered winning bids and totaled all the end of the evening donations. Proceeds for this event help the Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care bring people of all ages and at any stage the help they need for serious illness. NetStandard is proud to have volunteered with KC Hospice for three years now, and most of all, we are proud to support their IT and their mission.
