MSPmentor Ranks NetStandard In Top 100 Globally For Managed Services Providers

For the fifth year in a row, NetStandard has ranked in the top 100 as a managed services provider on MSPmentor’s annual MSP 501 list.

The top MSP 501 companies ranked this year include organizations from around the world and from diverse technology and business backgrounds. In this year’s edition, NetStandard is ranked 97th in the world among managed services providers, and we are proud to be the only company in the list’s top 100 that is headquartered in Kansas City.

In addition to honoring NetStandard, this year’s MSP 501 list showcases what MSPmentor Editor in Chief Aldrin Brown calls “the most agile, flexible and innovative organizations in the industry.”

Since the survey’s beginning nearly a decade ago, the ranking criteria shifted each year to match what is important year over year in the managed services provider market. This year, MSPmentor based the rankings on a system that put the highest value on revenue generated from truly managed and cloud services. Professional services revenue still played a role in the rankings; however, professional services was given a somewhat lower weighting. Revenue generated from consulting as well as hardware and software reselling also played a role in this year’s rankings.

Overall, MSPmentor’s annual list reflects just how many small and midsized companies are choosing to shift their IT systems to a managed services model rather than maintaining an IT team in house. Between 2014 and 2015, MSP 501 companies like NetStandard increased their overall number of users they manage worldwide by nearly 16 percent. This growth also touched on the growth in managed mobile devices—like smartphones and tablets—as managed services providers on the list saw an increase of nearly 30 percent in the number of devices managed.

This year’s edition is the 9th MSP 501 ranking, which is the IT channel’s largest and most comprehensive list of leading managed service provider (MSP) organizations worldwide.
