MSPmentor501-2013For the second year in a row, NetStandard has been named to Nine Lives Media’s MSPmentor list of the world’s top managed service providers. NetStandard is also the only managed services company in the Kansas City metro to once again break the top 100 of managed service providers.

NetStandard has been ranked 69th in the world out of 501 companies and 52nd in North America out of 200 companies for the 2013 edition.

Nine Lives Media’s sixth-annual MSPmentor 501 Global Edition is a distinguished report designed to identify the world’s top 501 managed service providers (MSPs). Previously known as the MSPmentor 100, the list was expanded this year to reflect the growing MSP industry.

The MSPmentor 501 report is based on data from MSPmentor’s global online survey conducted from October to December 2012. The MSPmentor 501 report recognizes top managed service providers based on a range of metrics, including annual managed services revenue, revenue per employee, managed services offered and customer devices managed, among others.

“MSPmentor congratulates NetStandard on this honor,” said Amy Katz, president of Nine Lives Media, a division of Penton Media. “Qualifying for our MSPmentor 501 Global Edition puts NetStandard in rare company.”

MSPs on this year’s global 501 list lifted their combined annual recurring revenues 24.5 percent to $2.54 billion. Together, those MSPs now manage more than 5.6 million PCs and servers, and nearly 400,000 smartphones and tablets, according to Joe Panettieri, editorial director, Nine Lives Media.
