We use server-side synchronization to integrate with Gmail, as Gmail is one of the supported email service configurations for server-side synchronization. However, Appointments, Tasks, and Contact synchronization is not supported through server-side sync for Gmail. Other email systems supported by server-side synchronization are Yahoo Mail, MSN, Outlook.com, Windows Live Mail and O365. However, we recommend migrating to Microsoft Exchange for full functionality.
