Prior to becoming a Director at NetStandard, Mr. Leek was at H&R Block where he was accountable for managing the Block Center Data Center, the technical project management team and implementing enhanced service support and service delivery processes for the IT infrastructure organization including the areas of incident, problem, change, configuration, capacity, financial and service continuity management. He also led the project to certify and migrate to the new H&R Block data center in the summer of 2006.
Prior to joining H&R Block, Mr. Leek also served previously as the Assistant Vice President of Technical Services for the Kansas City Southern Railway Company for 7 years. In this capacity he led an organization that dramatically increased customer satisfaction, refreshed the technology infrastructure in support of business initiatives and implemented new key functions and processes including a 7x24 help desk, incident management process and implemented and tested business continuity and IT disaster recovery programs.
Before joining Kansas City Southern, Mr. Leek previously worked in the areas of technology support and application development for Yellow Freight and developed key modules for management of electronic fund transactions for the banking industry at Applied Communications, Inc. His efforts there led him to on-site engagements at 9 different banking institutions in the United States, Mexico and Venezuela.
Mr. Leek is a 23 year information technology veteran with a primary focus in strategic planning, management and support of financial and transportation companies.
Mr. Leek holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Management and Data Processing from Northwest Missouri State University.
