Companies rely upon IT applications to run their day-to-day business, but reliable IT services can only be delivered if built upon a reliable foundation. That generally does not include the closet down the hall. NetStandard’s data center facility contains full “N+1” redundancy to ensure our customers can run the applications that run their business 7x24x365.
Colocation Services – Customers place their equipment in NetStandard’s fully N+1 facility but maintain the hardware and the software on the servers themselves. NetStandard provides basic monitoring (up/down) and remote hands when requested.
Dedicated Hosting Services – NetStandard provides the equipment and operating system and retains accountability for the availability of the servers.
Virtual Hosting Services – NetStandard provides virtual capacity provisioned using VMWare VI3 Enterprise ™ including dynamic resource scheduling, high availability and more.
Shared SAN – NetStandard delivers storage from a fibre channel SAN to customers who need it.
The data center provides two distinct power “grids”. Each grid consists of a feed from a public utility, a generator, UPS and power distribution units that are able to deliver separate power sources to each and every rack in the data center. Customers who use power from both grids can expect 100% power availability. To ensure network connections remain available, the data center provides links to two separate Internet Service Providers each connected to a unique router and each router is homed to 2 separate core Ethernet switches.
Cooling is provided by fully N+1 redundant HVAC infrastructures. In NetStandard’s data center, an HVAC unit can be taken offline for maintenance and the data center and customer’s equipment remain cool. All the redundant infrastructure is maintained and supported utilizing SAS70 certified processes. Trained resources staff our NOC around the clock and certified tier 3 technicians lend their expertise across diverse disciplines including wide area networks, local area networks, network security, storage area networks, VMWare virtualization, Microsoft applications and operating systems and Linux.
