NetStandard Nominated for State Business Award
NetStandard is a finalist for the 2009 Governor’s Award of Excellence, one of the highest honors the state of Kansas can present to a business.
In addition to being one of only five finalists, out of 179 nominations submitted, NetStandard is the only Kansas City-area company to be a finalist. The award is presented annually to the Kansas business that best represents the state’s ideals in leadership, service and contributions to the economy.
“We are truly honored to be nominated for this important award,” said Jeff Melcher, NetStandard’s CEO. “In addition to our business mission of providing world-class technology services to our clients, we are serious about actively contributing to our community.”
Past award recipients have included such notable Kansas companies as Black & Veatch, Capitol Federal Savings Bank, Olathe Health Systems and Koch Industries.
Governor Mark Parkinson will announce the recipient at the annual Kansas Cavalry Encampment on Thursday, June 25, at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park. The event is sponsored by the Kansas Cavalry, a volunteer group of business and economic leaders who promote Kansas as an attractive location for business.
If you are a NetStandard client, we’d like to thank you for your support. If you’re not a NetStandard client, we hope you contact us so we can show you how we can manage your technology so you can focus on running your business.
