Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Dream Gala 2008

On Saturday May 3, 2008, NetStandard attended the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Dream Gala at the Downtown Marriott in Kansas City, MO. Raising awareness for Type I and Type II diabetes, the gala was an important fundraiser for the foundation and a fun night for its supporters.
Part of NetStandard’s public relations team attended the event, and our own Melissa Thoenen, TITLE, was on the red carpet greeting important guests! NetStandard not only strives to provide their customers with a high quality of service, but strives to support charitable organizations and the Kansas City community.
JDRF’s emcee for the night was one of their board members, Melissa Smith. Smith noted many staggering statistics of diabetes cases in the United States and around the world.
