NetStandard provides a SAS70 certified data center. The Network Operations Center is staffed 7x24x365 including engineers with expertise in Linux, Windows, VMWare, IP networking, Citrix, VPN and firewall technologies available on an as needed basis.
Our Data Center features the following:
- SAS-70 Certified Data Center to help support the various audit requirements of our customers (HIPAA, SOX, PCI, GLBA…)
- N+1 Redundancy and 24x7x365 monitoring of all core systems
Network
- Internet Connectivity is triple redundant and multi-homed over fiber through AT&T and Cogent networks
- Completely diverse fiber paths into NetStandard and to the Internet POPs
- Maintain at least 100% unused bandwidth capacity in order to accommodate the peak requirements of our customers - even during uplink maintenance periods
- Redundant core network routers in use and spares maintained on-site
Electricity
- Two wholly separate power grids available to provide customers full power redundancy upon request (Generators, UPS’s, Breakers, Cabling and Power Strips…)
- Backup electrical systems (Generators and UPS’s) are tested weekly and monitored 24x7x365
- 48 hours of fully loaded generator fuel on-site and fuel contracts in place in case of a long term emergency
Cooling
- N+1 redundant cooling systems and capacity
- Provided by industry standard Liebert climate control systems
- Network and facilities are monitored 24/7/365 by trained and capable Network Operations Staff. Highly trained IT engineering staff available to support customer needs at any time.
Physical Security
- 24x7x365 staffed Network Operations Center
- Proximity Badge and Thumbprint Biometric Access systems to provide secure anytime access for our customers
- Video recording and proximity card recording of data centers and entrances with 90 days of retention
- Both data centers are video recorded for security and these cameras can be viewed live from this web site by clicking here.
- All data center floors are raised so cooling and electrical can be routed from underneath server cabinets
- All server cabinets have extended depth capacity and have front and rear locking doors.
- The data centers are protected from fire by FM-200 Fire Suppression Systems that will not harm server hardware and is environmentally friendly.
- Now NetStandard can provide secured cabinet space in our newly acquired Chicago Data Center space.
